Story:
For the past seven years I have gathered a huge interest in filmmaking. It all started when one day I decide to watch the Indiana Jones franchise for the first time and was so blown away with the story and effects that it instantly inspired me to create a film of my own. I always hesitated to make a full movie but for a while I used to make short stop motion clips and post them to my YouTube page. However, It got to 2023 and I decided that it was time to set myself a goal and create my very own film. I debated on where to start but before then I had recently gained a huge interest in the vampire subgenre after watching classics like 'The Lost Boys' and 'Near Dark'. It's difficult to really say on what led me to this idea but one day it just came to me. This is a story written and directed by myself, taking inspiration from many horror stories such as Halloween, The Lost Boys and 28 Days Later. In fact, it's not even other movies that led to this creation because the video game and miniseries 'The Last Of Us' was also a piece of inspiration for this project. Turning my idea into a reality is like a dream come true and it would be even more so if you people out there was to back this project and make it a reality.
Story:
This spooky tale is about a young 13yr old boy named Sam who is living in an old derelict town and is under constant abuse from his parents. One day his life takes an evil turn when a friendly looking Vampire named Fredraven Abraham offers to take him away so he could live a 'greater' life. Sam must decide on what path he must take as he explores the vampire underworld and learns about their past. His parents are doing everything they can to prevent their son from potentially living a better life but Sam has one choice. Live amongst evil....or live amongst torture for the rest of his life.

as this is an Indie project, the work would be mostly done by me (Ben Arnold). However, I would be offering the help from other people if they would like to contribute.

Risks:
As this is my first project, I'm not expecting it to be massively successful but please help out if you can because it would really help us bring this project to life. My goal in life is work in film and as a beginner, I am prepared to make mistakes but I want to express my talent and dedication to filmmaking and I'm giving you all the chance to participate. Even if this funding campaign isn't successful, I am still willing to show you all what I can do but with your support, we can make it bigger. This is also a low-budget production and so it could always look better but this is only the beginning and so there is every potential to take a bigger step.
