Project Evaluation:

This week Brandon and I have been working on an interactive storyboard based on the crime genre. This involved using Genially and processing Videos into GIFs.

What went well was that our group was successfully able to create 6 different 3 second clips within one lesson. Also, we helped others in the class to create their own storyboard. We followed most of what we placed on the storyboard but we then didn't end up following all of it because we came across a few limitations and other ideas instead.

 

What I could have improved on would be putting a bit more effort into the location. This is because we used a library for our main setting yet the actual location of my story is on a plane. Obviously we couldn't use an actual plane but what we can do is move a few objects around and make a convincing setting or find somewhere else that looked more like a plane. We also came across some other limitations involving props as there was some that we weren't able to use and so we had to improvise by finding a item in the Library that can be used instead.

I think I achieved this effectively because there's nothing in the storyboard that I feel should be different. I'm proud of how mine turned out but I know there's still always room for improvement and so next time I'm creating an interactive storyboard, I'll try to experiment using a different story or by trying out different filming techniques to create a different feel.
